3 Days Krabi: Rainforest, Emerald Pool & the Four Islands
Krabi's reputation is built on its coastline, but a good deal of what makes it distinct sits inland, under the rainforest canopy. This package gives a day to each: the jungle on arrival day, the islands on day two.
The Krabi Discovery day runs through the countryside into the rainforest to the Hot Spring Waterfalls — naturally heated thermal pools rich in mineral salts, tucked beneath the canopy — and the Emerald Pool, a freshwater spring whose water carries a striking emerald colour. It finishes at Tiger Cave Temple, a spiritual and meditation centre set among limestone caves, ancient trees and quiet forest, with an optional climb to the mountaintop shrine for a panorama over Krabi.
Day two is the four-island boat tour from Ao Nang — Phranang Cave, Chicken Island, the Tup Island sandbar and Poda Island — back at the hotel by around 2pm. The final morning is free before your transfer.

Why This 3 Days Krabi Package Stands Apart

The Emerald Pool
Fed by freshwater springs deep in the rainforest, the Emerald Pool holds water of a genuinely unusual colour — a clear, luminous green that comes from the mineral content and the limestone bed beneath it. The walk in runs through forest on a boardwalk trail, and the pool itself is shallow, warm and open for swimming.

Hot Spring Waterfalls
Upstream of the Emerald Pool, thermal water rich in mineral salts runs down a series of smooth limestone basins that have been worn into natural bathtubs. The water is naturally heated and sits at bath temperature, and the setting — under rainforest canopy, with cool stream water running alongside — is the reason it is worth the drive inland.

Tiger Cave Temple
Wat Tham Suea is a working spiritual and meditation centre built around a complex of limestone caves, surrounded by ancient trees and quiet forest. The grounds at the base can be explored at an easy pace; for those who want it, a long stairway climbs to the mountaintop shrine and a panoramic view over Krabi, the surrounding karsts and the coast.

The Four Islands by Boat
The second day covers the classic Krabi sea route from Ao Nang: Phranang Cave with its princess shrine, snorkelling at Chicken Island, the white-sand bar that emerges at low tide beside Tup Island, and Poda Island's wide beach and clear shallow water. Picnic-box lunch is provided on the boat and you are back at the hotel by around 2pm.

Krabi — Arranged by Malaysia's Trusted Agency Since 1988
The jungle day is the one that gets dropped from cheaper Krabi itineraries, because it needs a vehicle, a guide and a full half-day of driving. It is also the day that makes Krabi feel like somewhere rather than a beach. Dhesu keeps it on the arrival day, so you land, see the interior and reach Ao Nang in the evening with the island day still ahead of you.
MATTA & IATA Registered
Fully licensed Malaysian travel agency. Southern Thailand is a short flight from Kuala Lumpur and one of our most frequently booked beach circuits.
35+ Years of Thailand Experience
Since 1988 we have been arranging Thailand holidays for Malaysians. Our Andaman coast operators are long-term partners, not rotating contractors.
Private Airport Transfers
Arrival and departure transfers are private and included, so you are met at the terminal rather than left to find a taxi rank.
Transparent Pricing
The rate shown is per person on twin sharing, with the boat tours, guide and national park fees stated plainly under inclusions and exclusions.
Krabi Emerald Pool and Hot Springs Tour from Malaysia
Krabi's inland attractions sit within the Khao Phra Bang Khram and Khlong Thom areas, roughly an hour inland from Ao Nang, and they are usually done as a single loop: the Hot Spring Waterfalls first, then the Emerald Pool, then Tiger Cave Temple on the way back toward the coast.
Running it on arrival day is deliberate. It uses a day that would otherwise be a transfer and a check-in, and it means the four-island boat tour gets a full, unhurried day of its own. Bring swimwear in your hand luggage — both the hot springs and the Emerald Pool are for getting into.
Is Tiger Cave Temple's Summit Climb Worth Doing?
Wat Tham Suea's mountaintop shrine is reached by a long stairway of well over a thousand steps, and the climb is genuinely strenuous — steep, exposed and hot for most of the year. The view from the top takes in Krabi's karst landscape and the coast beyond it, and for those who make the climb it is usually the highlight of the day.
It is entirely optional. The temple grounds at the base — the limestone caves, the forest and the meditation areas — are the reason the site is on the itinerary, and they can be explored comfortably without climbing anything.
