This five-day itinerary covers what most Bali visitors need two separate trips to see. The first day delivers the dramatic south — Uluwatu's cliffside temple, the iconic Kecak Fire Dance performed against a sunset sky, and grilled seafood at Jimbaran Bay on the sand. Day two heads into Ubud's highland circuit: silver workshops at Celuk, the Royal Palace, traditional market, Tegalalang's rice terraces, and a coffee plantation, with lunch overlooking Mount Batur's volcanic crater lake and an afternoon at Tirta Empul's sacred springs.

Performed on a clifftop stage overlooking the Indian Ocean as the sun sets, the Kecak Dance is Bali's most theatrical cultural performance. Over a hundred bare-chested men form concentric circles, chanting the hypnotic 'cak' rhythm while dancers enact scenes from the Hindu Ramayana epic — with fire at the finale. This is included in the package at no extra charge.
Pura Ulun Danu Beratan — the Floating Temple
Set on the shores of Lake Beratan in Bali's cool Bedugul highlands, the 17th-century Pura Ulun Danu appears to float on the water surface during the misty mornings when lake levels are high. Dedicated to the goddess of the lake, it is one of Bali's most photographed temples — and one of the few that genuinely looks better in person than in photos.
Tanah Lot Temple at Sunset
Tanah Lot — literally 'land in the sea' — is a 16th-century Hindu temple perched on a rocky islet just off Bali's west coast. At low tide it is accessible on foot; at high tide it stands alone in the surf. The temple frames one of Bali's most iconic sunset silhouettes, and the surrounding clifftop walk offers cafes and viewpoints to take it all in.
Ubud Highland Loop: Rice Terraces, Coffee & Mount Batur
The day-long Ubud circuit takes in Tegalalang's UNESCO-listed subak rice terraces, a working Balinese coffee plantation where you can taste kopi and luwak coffee, and lunch at a ridgeline restaurant overlooking Mount Batur's active volcano and the azure caldera lake below. Celuk village and the Ubud Royal Palace bookend the cultural side of the loop.
