Where to go in India
Golden Triangle. Delhi’s old lanes, Jaipur’s forts and bazaars, and the Taj Mahal at first light. Most first timers start here, and it works well in five days.

Visa
Malaysians need a visa for India. Right now the High Commission of India in Kuala Lumpur offers a free 30-day, double-entry e-Tourist visa, applied for online, valid until 31 December 2026. Apply before you fly.
Best time to go
October to March for most of India, especially the Golden Triangle. May to October for the Himalayan hills. Kerala is fine for most of the year.
Flight time from KL
About 4 hours to South India and around 5.5 to 6 hours to Delhi.
How many days
3 days for a single city, 5 to 7 for one region, 10 or more for a proper first look, and 14 plus if you want north and south together.
