Yes. Malaysian passport holders apply for an India e-Visa online before departure. The tourist e-Visa covers tourism and short visits and is valid for 30 days from entry. The application is on the official India e-Visa portal, and Dhesu walks you through it when you book. Visa fees are not included in the package price.

Which airport does this trip use?

This is a land-only package: hotels, transfers, tours and guide are included, but international flights are not. Most Malaysian travellers fly from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to Srinagar and Leh Airports (SXR / IXL). We can recommend suitable flights and timings on request.

When is the Srinagar to Leh road open?

The road is generally open from June to September, when the high passes are clear of snow. Outside this window the route is closed by snow, so the full road trip can only run in these summer months. Book early for the best arrangements.

How serious is the altitude?

Very. Leh sits around 3,500 metres and the passes are much higher. Altitude sickness is a real risk, so this itinerary includes acclimatisation days. We advise consulting your doctor before travelling and taking the altitude seriously throughout.

Do I need permits for Ladakh?

Yes. Inner Line Permits are required for areas like Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake. We assist with arranging these as part of the package. You will need passport copies and photos, which we will request before your trip.
