What is the best time to visit Sri Lanka from Malaysia?

November to April is the best time to visit the west coast, Kandy, the Cultural Triangle and Yala. The east coast and Jaffna are best May to September when the southwest monsoon arrives. Sri Lanka's hill country is pleasant year-round, with afternoon showers adding to the atmosphere. We recommend October to March for most first-time visitors.
