6 Days in Northern Sri Lanka. Jaffna, Nainativu Island and Tamil Heritage.
The north is Sri Lanka's least-visited and most culturally distinct region. Jaffna has a culture, cuisine and architecture that feels closer to Tamil Nadu than Colombo. This six-day journey is for travellers who want to go where most tours do not.

Why Malaysian Travellers Love This Sri Lanka Package

Jaffna Fort & Nallur Kovil
The Dutch colonial fort at Jaffna is one of the largest surviving in Asia. A few minutes away, the Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil is the most important Hindu temple in northern Sri Lanka — a riot of gopuram carvings, peacock sculptures and pilgrims. The combination of colonial and Dravidian culture is unlike anywhere else in the country.

Nainativu Sacred Island
A short boat ride from Kurikadduwan pier, Nainativu holds two sacred sites on one tiny island: the Nagapooshani Amman Hindu temple and the Nagadeepa Buddhist shrine. Both are deeply revered. The experience of sailing to a sacred island shared by two faiths is quietly extraordinary.

Sigiriya & the Cultural Triangle
En route back south, the Cultural Triangle delivers Sri Lanka's most dramatic set-piece — Sigiriya rock fortress rising from the jungle with 5th-century palace ruins on the summit, and the Dambulla Cave Temple with its golden Buddhas.
