Yes. Malaysian passport holders apply for an India e-Visa online before departure. The tourist e-Visa covers tourism and short visits and is valid for 30 days from entry. The application is on the official India e-Visa portal, and Dhesu walks you through it when you book. Visa fees are not included in the package price.

Which airport does this trip use?

This is a land-only package: hotels, transfers, tours and guide are included, but international flights are not. Most Malaysian travellers fly from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to Dehradun or Delhi Airport (DED / DEL). We can recommend suitable flights and timings on request.

When is the Char Dham Yatra open?

The four shrines open roughly from late April or May to October or November, closing for the Himalayan winter. The exact dates vary each year with conditions. This narrow window is the only time the yatra can be undertaken, so book well in advance.

How physically demanding is the yatra?

It is demanding. There is significant mountain driving, and reaching Yamunotri and Kedarnath involves treks or pony rides at altitude. Helicopter options are available for Kedarnath. A reasonable level of fitness is important, and we advise consulting your doctor before travelling.
